Why we stopped charging by the hour
Hourly billing punishes the customer for a job going slowly, which is exactly backwards — you did not cause the corroded junction box in the attic. So we quote the job flat. If it takes twice as long as expected, that is on us. Every quote is given before work starts, and we pull permits on anything that needs one.

Common questions
How do you price work?
Flat rate per job, quoted before we start. Service calls from $165, panel upgrades from $2,800, EV chargers from $1,400. If the job runs long, that is our problem, not your invoice.
Do you pull permits?
Yes, on everything that requires one, and we book the inspection. Unpermitted electrical work causes real problems when you sell or claim on insurance.
Is this an emergency?
Burning smell, sparking, a hot outlet or scorch marks — shut off the breaker and call us now. Anything with smoke or flame, call 911 first.
How soon can you come?
Usually within two to three business days for standard work, and same day for genuine emergencies. Larger projects are booked two to three weeks out.
